Well I just had a 3 month old chick die today, we were batteling eyeworms too. I never thought that they killed her though. But I could be wrong. She had a bad case of coccidia shortly after I got her at about 2 weeks. And there was a few days delay in getting the Corid to treat her, sighhhh... I think that the coccidia caused some real damage to her. She never quite recovered. Even though I treated her 3 times, 5 days each, tried a regular worming, and put her on antibotics, gave her yogurt, even baytril. We tried everything, to be honest I think your little kids may have something more then eye worms. Look up coccidia, I read today that they are in the birds even when they hatch. I don`t know if thats true or not. But coccidia is a killer so I would look into possibly treating your kids for that to start. I don`t think that will kill eyeworms, there are some other meds out for that. Sorry I`m not much help. My bird was a sweetie, and losing one really hurts. Sorry for your loss I know your pain, mine has only been gone for about 5 hours.
