Can a hen hatch quail eggs?

Has anyone tried? I have two black sex link hens and two barred rock hens. My current incubator isn’t holding the humidity very well, and is constant fluctuating. Once my hens start to go broody, can I throw some coturnix eggs under her?

I'm sure you can the hen won't really know the difference. I have heard of chicken hens hatching duck and turkey eggs before. Though only issue I can think of is that maybe they would accidentally break the eggs because they are so small but that never happens to me with banty eggs so I think it should be okay. Good luck keep this post updated if you do this it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
