My two female muscovies have just started laying eggs! I was excited to have some fir baking that were non fertile. I have a larger flock of khakis and pekins hens and only one khaki Drake. I was fairly certain that he could not mate with my muscovies because I have yet to witness it. However when baking this morning, I believe to have cracked open a fertile egg. None of the eggs they've laid so far have been fertile. Below I have attached a photo, hoping that someone can tell me why there's a bullseye in the center of the yolk if he's never bred with either of them. Any answers would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to BYC! That looks like it could be fertile!

Thanks! Also, I was wondering if it were at all possible for a muscovy to lay two eggs a day?
Some people have reported that their ducks have laid two shelled eggs in a day, but I have never seen that. Seen one shelled, one soft, but never two shelled. Not saying it's not possible, just saying I haven't seen it.
