Can a large bantam come from a small egg?

So a large bantam rooster bred with my smaller, serama bantam. I’m wondering if the parent’s large size could transfer since her eggs are very tiny. Then again I can only assume it’s a genetic lottery that isn’t worth it.

Very likely any chicks that hatch will mature somewhat larger than their mother and somewhat smaller than their father.
