Can a member earn a GFM?

Can a BYC member earn a golden feather without buying or winning one? Thanks.

Yup, watch for contests. A lot of them have a 3 or 6 month GFM as a prize.

I mean like if a member gets a certain amount of awards, or if they are just a really good member and they're given a GFM. Is that possible?

Not really. If that were the criteria, then we would give out 10's of thousands of GFMs!
