Can a pair of Cornish X actually breed?

With in species crosses of different varities are not sterile. They may have physical limitations that make reporduction difficult or impossible like in a broad breasted turkey, with out a big breast lets say they WOULD be able to mate. I would have to say your friend is telling you a old wives tale.
