Nope.He came from a hatchery. I ordered 4 buff Brahama bantams. 3 were roosters an one was a hen. Does that make a difference?
I sure hope this is what is happening with my hatch!Luckily I hatched 4 chicks back in November and 3 turned out to be hens and 1 a rooster. During chick stage I thought the rooster was a hen and the hens were roosters!

You did read the post about poultry genetics? It is not the same as humans. The hens ovum determines gender and not the rooster.He came from a hatchery. I ordered 4 buff Brahama bantams. 3 were roosters an one was a hen. Does that make a difference?
