Can a speckled sussex lay a white egg?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong area.)

So that's the million dollar question. 'Cause if the answer is no, then my easter egger roo is a girl.
 
I think they can be tinted, so maybe it just appears white? But everything I've read indicates that the SS's lay tinted to light brown eggs.

Very strange, huh? The thing is, if it's NOT from the SS, it's from this EE who really looks like a boy (about 5 months):

Yeah, maybe she's just laying really really pale eggs. It's an odd one for sure. thanks for all the feedback!

BTW, I love Harry Potter too!
