Can all Duck breeds fly?

My Khaki Campbell can fly like a Mallard,my Rouen....a few feet, my Pekin.....well, he'd have to have wings the size of a Cessna to get his fat butt off the ground.

I had my Crackers(Khaki Campbell) fly off, looking for a woman I think, and he never came home

Now I'm looking for 1 or 2 breeds that will not fyl off on me, what about a the Blue Swedish, Buff Duck(Orpington) and the Cayuga???

i have blue swedish and they have almost the same build as a pekin. she is too heavy to get her big butt off the ground!! lol

I have Blue Swedish and Cayuga (2 hens of each), and while my Blue Swedish girls are a bit more "fluffy" than the Cayugas, not a one of the four could fly any more than I could.

So at least in my experience, you'd certainly be safe with either of those breeds staying put.
