I am very new to this and am trying to get all of my "ignorant" questions answered by understanding, experienced people.
Can all eggs be incubated and turned into live chicks? or are the eggs laid only for consumption????:

The only eggs that will hatch are the ones with a rooster in with the hens. If they are not fertilized, they will not hatch. Hope this helps!

as long as there is a father around, an egg will hatch as long as you turn it at least 3 times a day and stop turning 3 days before the hatch. if you are hatching quail eggs or any other kind of bird look up how many days it will take. good luck on your 1st batch!
