Can anyone give me advice on silkie genetics

Can anyone please help with silkie genetics. I bread a buff rooster to a white hen and got 100 percent partridge. I don't get how.

This is an old thread but explains it. Buffs are like a "wild card." I have one too, a hen, so I'm excited to see what we get.
