Burnin' up in KY
I have a chick that's vent area is matted with liquid. There's a yellow discharge coming from it's vent. They are from a hatchery and were not given a vaccine for Marak's diease and corrises (Spelled wrong, but I belive this is where they crap blood. Such a nice word for it too.)
I'll try and upload some pictures later.

first the word your looking for is coccidiosis
they have blood in manure when they have coccidiosis

besides that isn't what is wrong with the chicks
first How old are they?
chicks do not get coccidiosis when first hatched
about 4-8 weeks old if put out on new ground they will get coccidiosis from the germs being in the soil

now I would say they may have some kind of infection due to a cold or the like
I wounder if you called the hatchery and described it to them if they would know what virus they may have gotten?

I would put the whole group on
2 tbsp of applecider vinegar per gallon of water

What size waterer do you have?
you need to get something into them to restore the gut flora

I wouls immediately feed them the
natural probiotic wet mash
1 qt of dru crumbles
2 qts milk fresh, sour or buttermilk
1/2 cup of yoguart non flavored

feed this to them in amts of 1-2 tsp per chick
and what they will eat in 20-30 minutes time

thewn clean up the wet feeder and restock dry crumbles

feed this mixture twice a day for a week then once a weel for life to get their gut flora startrd

keep us posted
