You are in the UK? Wonder if you have Rhodebars. http://feathersite.com/Poultry/CGA/Auto/BRKAutosex.html has pictures of them as chicks at the bottom of the page, did yours look like that to start with? Do you know what they are supposed to look like when they are adults?

Yes in the Uk, just looked at the link and it does seem that we have Rhodebars as they looked at exactly like that when they were first born, all 3 of them have the stripes and if thats an indication of a pullet then it would seem all three of ours are girls. We spoke to the farm we got them from and she said it sounded like we had 3 girls, but then said something about the Roos being a lighter colour with a white spot on their head, which confused us as they all had slightly lighter patches on their heads. But that link seems to have cleared a lot up for us and everything seems to make more sense now so thank you.
