It's a boy !!!!!!! The reason I say that is because the feathers on the head look like a mail silkies.

How old is he and is there a clear comb shot?

If he's under 2 months old.... I don't know if you can say boy/girl quite yet. If older than 2 months, if there is a wide comb in there I'd say boy, if it's still flat, I'd say girl.

I have a pet quality buff egg layer with a small swept back head puff like that too.

He is 11 weeks old.. I noticed on my other Silkie roos they had a wide "pinkish" comb. I don't know if its because he's black, that the comb has not turned pinkish. His legs are shorter than the other roos, but he is heavier than the girls. The other boys, I had no problems identifying the sex, they would fight a little and claim territory. This one stayed away from them, so that made me question too. I am going to get better pics on here for one last round of guessing... Thanks..
