Can anyone help with my dog's breed?

How big is he?  
I don't see husky from the pictures either.  Does he have a double coat?  Does his tail curl up over his back when he is happy?

By-the-way, he is really cute! 
I like the heavy duty eyeliner he's got going on.

Thanks! He just has a single coat. His tail does curl a bit. Not a lot of curl but it's there.

shepherds and huskies are both double-coated breeds so that crosses that particular combination off the list.

Shepherd also means a lot of things - German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, English Shepherd, Anatolian Shepherd

Honestly I this dog could be primarily Australian Shepherd. The face, the fur, the body, and the ears look just like my pure bred Aussie. I'm not sure about the grey on the face! It makes him look very old, I was surprised to read that he is only 8mo. There are a lot of options for what this mix might be. Large terrier or some other similar shaped herding dog like a Sheltie or rough Collie is my guess. Could be GSD, not sure though. I don't see any GSD traits in this dog.

I also see a lot of Australian Shepherd traits in this dog, he is a pretty mixed breed.

Thanks everyone! Every day I see more and more Australian Shepherd in him. He does look much older than he actually is. But there's no doubt he's a puppy. I'm usually pretty good at identifying dog breeds, mixed too. But he just had me stumped. Thanks again for the help!

I adopted Mo from the shelter a few months ago and he is a Shepherd mix. He's around 8 months old. Everyone that I've shown pictures of him to, said he looks like he is part Husky. He has German Shepherd colors but his ears do not stand up as they would from the GS or Husky. Any ideas on what breed he could be?
