You’re thinking of red sex links, though they don’t use brown leghorn in the cross.

First chicken looks like a sex link hybrid. RIR and something white with columbian pattern.

Looks to me like there’s some Welsummer or Brown Leghorn in her, based on the coloring and yellow legs.
