thanks everyone. I posted a pic of this RR at 7 weeks and everyone said it was a roo with no votes for a pullet. I was all ready to send it swimming with the noodles. I was hoping if I posted again someone would give me hope it could be a pullet. It's the only RR I have. I think I'll hang onto it for a little while longer and see what happens.
I'd wait. My neighbors have RIR's that they got about two months before mine - we thought two of them were roos at 10 weeks (and now that MINE are 10 weeks I am worrying too!) - all turned out to be pullets! Wait till it crows or lays an egg or has roo feathering.
Mine are starting to get a bit red and they are 10.5 weeks old now. I'm going to wait and see too
