Anyone else think the buff one might be part brahma? I'm no expert, but the coloring reminds me of mine. How many toes do they have?

Same. You have two boys, and the small black one is a pullet. I agree there is some silkie in the boys, but to me they look not quite half-silkie. Maybe one of the grandparents was a silkie, lol. What color were the eggs your neighbor hatched for you?

I’ll have to ask! They were all totally black when they hatched though so the colorings were a surprise as they grew!
