Can anyone tell me the breed of this chick?

So I made an attempt at some outdoor pics. I thought these two were Barred Rock initially but one has feathered legs and neither appears to have a single comb forming. EE for this one since looks like a chipmunk and legs appear green? The black one on the right has feathered legs. Wonder about that one. No clue here. Gold laced something? Second one from left??? And of course the black on on the left and the black one on the right. The black one on the right is getting red feathers on the chest. The black on on the left has feathered legs and a white chest. They are so cute and incredibly spunky! We are calling them our gremlins.
Those first two look just like my Marans did at that age.

What kind of Marans?  Cuckoo?  Do they have feathered legs?  One has feathered legs.  They also have a rose or pea comb, not a single.

Yes, cuckoo. Mine don't have feathered legs tho. Im not really good at spotting the breed while they are chicks, but my CM's looked identical to yours.

I thought I'd try again here. I got some updated pics of my rescuees! They are 5 weeks old now.

I also thought this was an Easter Egger, but appears to have a single comb combing in. My daughter named this one Chipmunk. Not sure if that is going to stick or not.

Back is Chip. I originally thought these two in the front were Barred Rock, but neither has a single comb. The one on the left has feathered legs. I think I agree on Cuckoo Maran.

This is Gidget in the front on the right. I don't know. Gold-laced something? The one second from the left with the black and red feathers has feathered legs. I don't know on that one either.

This is Smores. In this pic the feathers look redder than they are. In the pic above, she is the far left and you can see the color is blonder. I don't know on this one either.

I would love to think this one is a Black Copper Maran. Legs are feathered. Don't know for sure.

Another pic of the black and red one with feathered legs. I think this is the one my daughter named Stripe. Maybe a roo? And the possible cuckoo on the left with feathered legs, that's Gizmo.

We have a Gremlin theme on some of these guys. We always joked that they acted like Gremlins, especially when they escaped the brooder and we had to chase them around the house. Well, there they are, my seven little Gremlins.

I'd really appreciate it someone could respond with guesses on the ones that we don't suspect are cuckoo marans. Thank you in advance.

Sometimes you just can't tell......there are a lot of mixes out there, and since you found them on the side of the road you may never know what breed they are as you don't know their parentage. Featherage can change a lot until they are adults...even then, you may not be able to pinpoint a particular breed.

Feathered legs could have Cochin, Brahma, Maran mixed in.
At 5 weeks, red color in comb usually indicates cockerel...any wattle growth especially indicates cockerel.

They look like Heinz 57 babies who need a mama!
Yep and that became me.

Four of them were roos. I kept one roo and adopted the other 3 to other families when they were about 16 weeks old. I believe they were all mixes but gorgeous boys! The final 3 are lovely hens. Two of the hens are Barred Olive Eggers. They look like Dominiques and one has feathered legs. The other is an EE without the blue gene. She lays a lovely little cream egg though.
