Can anyone tell me what breed my rooster is?

what are you looking for in chicks if you like the feathered feet a brahma or cochin..but I think a white silkie so you can have barred silkies.lol he good looking I think he looks like a dominique and brahma mix..

Hmmm, I am going to throw another mystery into the mix. I had a hen that came with that rooster they were suppose to be the same(whatever they are) Something killed her about 2 weeks ago. But the offspring I got from them is turning out to look like a blue grey. Here are pictures of the now deceased hen and two of the babies. I would love to know what you guys think and is there a name for the coloring?

They look like maybe they were related, so they carried the blue gene so maybe were mixed with blue cochin and barred rock?

the legs are not yellow, he may be better barred than most marans but he has to be a feather legged version of a cuckoo maran, at least in part

Your getting a blue so the adults were a cross of a blue, black, splash something with feathered feet to a barred rock hen. Resulting in blue offspring with feathered feet from them. Cochin sounds about right, feathered feet and in the BBS color. So my guess is Rock over cochin hen was his parents.

from the size and bild i would say blue lagshane/bared rock that would explan the fethered shanks and the biger bild and yes they would be bared and there chicks would be bared or blue /black

Dominiques have rose combs and Brahmas have pea combs. This boy has a beautiful single comb. You won't get that from mixing a Dominique and a Brahma. I think he and the hen are Marans or Marans cross. What color egg did the hen lay?​
