It will be a little while from now though--I over did it picking up chickens off of Craig's List, and am currently short on coop/run space. We have all kinds of predators here, so things have to be done right. So for the moment, I had to give up the coyote-proof little enclosure attached to the house that I use for my Chihuahuas, and put some growing chickens in there. Needless to say, this causes problems. My little dogs don't like my big dogs, and for the moment they're all having to hang out together. They bark at each other and give me a headache, and the cocky little male Chi lifts his leg on the Ridgeback's bowl every morning after breakfast. So charming...
