can chickens and ducks live together in coop for a while?

Well I have 3 chickens and 2 ducks right now I got them all at the same time when they were only about 1 day old and they have been together ever since - now they are about 8 weeks old and are outside in the pen. I moved the ducks outside first and showed them thier new kiddie pool they were out there for about 30mins than We moved the chickens out there and now everytime a chicken goes near the pool the ducks chase them off !! but they are all getting along fine We are buliding the chickens their own coop inside their own yard so we dont have problems later ( just in case )

We've had ducks and chicks that were bought at the same time and were the same age. They grew up together and were fine in the coop from day one. But they probably didn't know they were any different than the other. My ducks swam happily in their little pool with the chickens drinking from the sides. Sometimes my aflac duck would reach out and grab a chicken and pull her into the pool. The chicken would freak out and squak and run and carry on forever. I think it made the ducks day.
