Happy easter :)
One of my chickens was digging around in the dirt and found a centipede. I had no idea if it was ok for her so i tryed to stop her from eating it and she ate it. I know that centipedes are poisonous but is it ok if chickens eat centipedes?

This is almost certainly not the first centipede they have scratched out of the dirt, and if your others are fine, this one should be too.

Ours follow us around the yard and "encourage" us to flip over pavers, logs, etc. so they can try and eat the critters beneath.

Centipedes seem to be a real favorite for some reason. Perhaps the wonderful crunching noises. Plus all the protein!

She should be fine.

Happy trails!
