Can chickens eat dead flys from a container type fly trap?

Would these dead fly be of any value to the chickens or could they be harmful?

Of course I do not mean the sticky fly traps, I mean the container type that catches the flys and then they die.

I wouldn't be afraid to feed mine dead flies. They chase any flying insect that tries to make it across their run anyway.
