Can chickens eat figs?

I have never eaten a fresh fig. How are they different than the dried ones you buy in the store? (Besides the obvious)
Are you growing them in your yard?

As different as a Grape is from a Raisin. Fresh Ripe Figs are tender, really sweet with, as accurately described by Mossychick, a Jelly inside. The flavor is similar but less concentrated. In Northern PA I have to Buy them, so only Thieving Chickens will ever taste one! Fig Gravy with Port or Madeira Wine is amazing over Roast Pork or Chops...JJ
