Can chickens eat peaches?

I do withhold feed, well grab them off roost at night and cage with only water, then slaughter first thing in the morning-so they are not starved per se but have pretty much empty intestines, last minute meal of scratch to fill crop for easier removal....so gizzard was also pretty much empty except for some grit and that stick, gizzard was malformed, from stick or not <shrugs> who knows. I imagine ingesting the indigestible would have less affect on older birds than youngsters.

My chickens will pluck the peaches from the tree and eat them. Forget the fermented feed! They also do that with the apples and pears.

I pick up the peach pits as I find them in the yard.

I often will pick apples and pears and cut them up (skin, core, seeds, and all) and give them to the chickens. Again, no one has gotten sick or died. When I find seeds in the yard, I just pick them up.
