In east Texas big red wasp are everywhere. I have seen a couple get inside the run but the chickens didn't catch them. Got me thinking if it is harmful to our hens to eat them? I just today have a swarm of probably 100 wasp showed up near my walkway to my house and within 50 ft. of the chicken coop. Have not been able to find the nest yet but hopefully tonight after they settle down somewhere!! Doesn't help I'm allergic to them!!

My birds would never go near wasps, and if they did there is no way they could manage to catch them. I would not worry

My birds don't get them either. Hopefully you will find out where they are and will be able to eliminate them. Good luck...

I don't think eating them would be the danger. The danger is them getting stung by them and I'm sure it would be extremely distressing and possibly fatal because the venom could shut down their organs.
