Can chickens have hay fever?

I have a Japanese Bantom rooster who has started sneezing since certain trees, that give my chickens shade, have started to pollenate. I noticed that his sneezing does seem to lessen or even stop after a good rain until things dry out and the wind blows again. I have done all precautionary checks for illness that I have been taught, but nothing is so far suggesting illness. He stills crows in between sneezes. He has no wheezing or chest congestion that I can hear. I know he's not lethargic because he still clucks and crows his tushy off whenever his mate comes to me to be held or runs around the pen chasing spiders to eat. Can chickens develop hay fever? If so, how do you help the poor, little, sneezy rooster?

This is a new one for me.

I've never known of an allergic chicken but I suppose anything is possible.
