Can chicks eat nuts?

My chicks are 7 weeks old, can the eat nuts? If so, what type?

Chicks can eat nuts, as long as you break them up so there is no risk of choking AND they have access to grit.
Mine like all sorts.

Are pecans ok?? I know almonds are.

I have never heard anything against any type of nut. I have fed my chickens pecans, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, even coconut.
