Can dogs?

My dog gets table scraps all the time..but seldom in large amounts. He hasn't had any serious problems, but he's a shepherd/lab mix who was born in the country. I think a dog's breeding and background influences what he can and cannot eat, because we had a purebred Golden Retriever who had a delicate stomach, and a purebred Border Collie who could eat anything.
So, to answer the real question, if your dog has a delicate stomach, don't feed him spagetti sauce..but if he has a cast iron one a little bit shouldn't hurt.

My dog hates dog food. He prefers a vegetarian diet. I have been told that grapes and raisins can cause kidney problems and chocolate is bad for them in large quantities but other than that I think people food is fine if not better than dog food. The only problem I ever had is when my pug ate an entire bag of jelly beans and puked all over my car.
