Can drakes live with chickens without harming them.

Drakes and chickens can live with each other peacefully, but there are environmental factors that will dictate if the two species can be intermingled without any fighting with each other or not. I have drakes, and chickens who are housed with each other, and have never had any problems.

Do note, I ensure each species has a correct ratio, as keeping a few drakes with just chicken hens, will bound to turn into a disaster. Just as keeping the two species, in a small enclosed pen where they are constantly near each other. So to the point of your question, yes, they can live with each other peacefully, but, there must be adequate space for the two species to roam or fighting will occur, and it is a must that the drakes have plenty of duck hens, and the roosters have plenty of chicken hens. If not, you will have fighting, and even doing things mentioned above, fighting may still occur depending on the personality of the flock.
