I have 3 very large cows and 2 ducks. Will the ducks be ok loose in the barn with the cows? I would hate to keep them in a small pen. I was wondering if I could just put their dog house in the barn with the cows. The cows are not in stalls but are tied up. I am in Poland so the winters are really harsh. It is normal for it to be -13F in January and february.

Thanks for your help :)

Glad you joined us! I think you should ask in the Ducks section as well. Enjoy the site!

Hello :frow and Welcome to BYC! you might also try asking in the BYC Forum Back Yard Herds http://www.backyardherds.com/forum/ Do you know how are your cattle with ducks? Some cattle are aggressive towards other animals, and even if the cows are kind and are tied, occasionally a duck may get stepped on or kicked, especially if they are underfoot scrounging grain.
