Can ducks drink tea?

Hi! It’s really cold in Minnesota right now and I was trying to think of a treat for my ducks...
Can they drink peppermint tea or any tea?

No, caffeine makes them go quackers.

I don't know if they would or not, but caffeine free would probably be the best.
How about some warm carrots or Scrambled Eggs?

Oatmeal isn't very good for poultry, it can get stuck in their crop ( or what is considered a crop on a duck, they don't have proper ones and ferment.

Oatmeal is bad for poultry, so is caffeine. Mine enjoy a hot, soupy feed mash

I make a wet mash with their regular feed and warm water. I add enough warm water so that after resting for 5 minutes it is similar consistency to cooked oatmeal. Mine are very happy with it.

Its hard to know i don't think many people have ever tried giving tea to ducks. Maybe some kinds of non caffinated tea would be fine but personally I wouldn't try.
