Can Ducks get marks disease or coryza from chickens

Ducks are very hardy, and if given a healthy living inviroment will stay that way. There are diseases that ducks can catch but in my book by "Dave Holderread" he doesn't mention Mareks or Coryza

I recently took a class from an avian vet that said ducks could carry Marek's, but would not have the disease. Not sure about the other one. Can't find either in my duck book (Holderread's). I specifically asked the vet if ducks could get it as she was gearing the class toward chicken owners and I had ducks.

Thats interesting. I have the same book and Dave doesn't mention Mareks or Coryza. wonder why?

I haven't been able to find anything in print on the subject. But that is what she (the vet) said.
