Mexico
I live in Mexico and it's been pretty chilly here, I have one duck, 4 dogs and a cat. I give them all soup at night that has chicken giblets, tortillas, and veggies. My duck always tries to eat the soup but I only let her have the cooked veggies, nothing else. So my question is, can ducks eat soup? And is tortilla bad for them? I've already looked up what veggies they can and can't eat so I make sure to only give her veggies she can have

As long as you don't make it a steady diet the soup with all those things in it should be ok for her. Mine love vegetable soup and they will eat the beef in it and also the egg noodles.

Ducks can eat meat????

Yes, ducks can eat meat. They like worms and bugs, which are animals. And when they can, ducks will eat tiny fish. I give my ducks just a little dry cat kibble (that has meat in it) especially in winter time when they cannot forage for their own animal products.

I've heard salt is bad for ducks, but if it's unsalted or really low in salt it should be fine.

I've fed leftover soup to my ducks, and they loved slurping it up! And they definitely can eat meat, mine are partial to ham especially. I would think as long as the soup isn't super salty, and doesn't have anything in it that is considered poisonous to poultry, then letting your ducks enjoy it would be no problem!

Since I have dogs and a cat we mix their dog food with the cat food and my duck always eats their food. It's dry food and the bits are pretty small, I was really worried about her eating it but I read on a thread here that it's actually good for them (the cat food since it has more protein)

I put in very little salt and take out all the fat that's left over from the chicken skin/bones so it's not so bad. At first I was really scared because I thought ducks shouldn't eat meat but she'd always be the first to eat the soup! And thanks DemonicFowl for the link!! It gave me lots of new ideas for what to feed her
