i know tractor supply sells ducklings and chicks (that’s where i got mine!) but is there anyway i would be allowed to bring my duck there when i go to pick up food or something? oh and petco?

I bet it would be fine. I haven't brought a grown duck there but bring our dogs all the time and nobody cares. I don't know petco but if it's like a Petsmart I'd say yes its ok there too.

I'd ask to be sure. They might not allow that because of biosecurity concerns. Perhaps an e mail to corporate ?

If you have a way of preventing them pooping on the floor, I'm sure it's fine. I've brought a piglet in and everyone just loved on him.

I used to take speedy all the time. The one lady keeps asking when I'll bring her back cause she's one of the ones that helped me when i found her 2 and 1/2 years ago. As soon as i get a car again. She wore her diaper when we'd go shopping.

We bring an old blanket or sheet and put it in the shopping cart. Then we take their poop home with us.

Once birds are home and situated at home they should stay there. Disease transfer is a real issue.

they are perfectly healthy. they’ve already been to the vet. they’ve been on walks around the neighborhood before. they love meeting new people and people love meeting them. i see it no more dangerous than bringing a dog to petco. they’ll be leashed and in the cart the whole time.
