Can fake eggs encourage brooding - Egg Eater Problem

Hello BYC Community!
I have a silver laced wyandotte who has developed the bad egg eating habit. If I put in a fake plastic (colorful) Easter egg or golf ball, will that encourage her to brood? Would it encourage my other 3 ladies to brood (buff orpington, blue splash maran, cuckoo maran)? They are all around the same age, about 21 weeks old.

In my experience, the only thing that will encourage brooding is another broody. I have 5 right now and a 6th hen trying to sit. I'd put something hard in the nest like a golf ball, so when she pecks at the "egg" it hurts. You want to discourage this behavior quickly as the others will learn to eat eggs from her.
