Can I add new chicks in with my 5 day old chicks?

On 3/25 one of my 6 EE eggs hatched. Thats all. I went to the feed store and bought two, 10 day old chicks. On 4/2, I couldn't help myself, I went back to the feed store and got 3 more 4 day old chicks. They are getting along very well. I figured, I was going to have 6 chickens anyway, why not let them get to know each other from the very beginning? They are sooo cute!!!

the bigger ones are over three weeks and the lil ones are about a week they do fine outside where there is alot of space but at night i have to keep them in separate brooders cuz they lil ones get run over by the spunky big ones

Well, it doesn't look like we won't be getting the extra two EE after all:( So it's just our original eight chicks.

Thanks everyone for weighing in with your advice and experiences.

I was told to put a couple of chicks in with the very young turkey poults for a couple of days. This is to show the poults where the food and water are. Then take the chicks out. Is this okay?

I have three Silkie babies which are now about 8 weeks. They are sweethearts now but when they were itty bitty babies they were easily the meanest kids on the playground!!! Pecking everyone including me
...nasty, hateful little monsters. LOL I was starting to regret getting them!!!
