I tried to explain the deal we have going to a friend and it was so funny....

"So this guy online is letting me borrow his incubator if I hatch some chicks for him. So the lady from eugene is bringing me eggs from some farmer near her and bring the guy from salem some chickens, and he's bringing the incubator, and we are all meeting next to the freeway."

Their comment was "well if the strangers from online kill you, at least it will be an interesting story"

I'm not too worried, it sounds like there are plenty of people that have met with both of them (and lived to tell the story). The story does sound a bit weird to anyone not involved though.

I think it is all awesome. This is why I love oregon, you can find people to make these crazy deals with and everyone wants to help. So much fun.

I'm super excited to try my hand at incubating, and hatching some random mutts.

Add in the fact there are all us witness's now. Imagine trying to explain to the cops.... "She really needed an incubator, and we all agreed it was a good deal! And the dogs, well they are for therapy, they were just trying to help. Don't you like to be licked in the face? I mean, just because the guy drowned in dog slobber or was it that someone said wedding?"
