can i brood quail in the garage?

First week in the family room. Second week either they're out or I'm out, the wife said. That settled it backyard they go. Make sure to maintain temperature and protect from nocturnal predators.

I have a friend who broods them outside the whole time....would the garage be better?

I think its easier to get them to a stable, solid point in a controlled area. After the first couple weeks, you'll notice you dont lose as many. But If it works for him it would be less hassle for sure.... I just really enjoy chicks and like to watch them even after all these years. it is a lot of work thou.
