Can I compost pine shavings with cocci in it?

If you have had a cocci outbreak that you have had to treat then I wouldnt risk it no... studies have found that cocci oocysts can survive the suppedsly deadly temps (cold and heat)...
I would bag it and take it to the dump to be incinerated (thereby removing it from my property all together)
I suppose you could burn it and then put the ashes in the compost heap though.
 
You can treat it with a stable product like Stable Boy or Stall-Dri- then compost. And if you treat your bedding for use with uour chickens you should find that the dryness greatly reduces the occurrances of cocci in your flock(s).
