I feed kayerpellets 17% but in my thread yesterday people were saying that the hen had vitamin deficiency so I’m trying to keep these from getting it... look at my other threadIf your chickens are provided a quality feed to eat, there should be no need to provide extra vitamins. Feed is formulated with minerals, vitamins and nutrients for proper growth, egg production and overall health of chickens.
Too much vitamins can be counter productive or harmful in some manner.
Perhaps if you described your hens symptoms etc...prior to her death, we might be able to take a shot at what mightve been the reason she died.
BTW, sorry for your loss.
No blood it was 80 here yesterday just put bedding in yesterdayWas there any blood? How warm is it at your house? Is their bedding dry?
It won't hurt their eggs, but I'd be more concerned about your treatment. Do you know what went wrong and why your hen died? If they have a properly balanced diet, vitamins really shouldn't be a problem. Are you primarily feeding them standardized pellet feed?

Any of that contagiousI just read all 5 pages of your thread from yesterday. A three year old hen lived for 3 years. That does not sound like the lack of vitamins to me.
I suspect one or more of the following caused her death: external parasites, internal parasites or egg impacted.
