Can you only show in your own state? or can i show out of state?
Id like to hit a few shows this year, but all thats left is outta state. and i dont know how to go about doing that....

Check the requirements of the shows you wish to participate in. They should have rules and guidlines for out of state birds. Most likely you will have to have a recent certificate from a vet, current within the last 30 days, stateing your birds are healthy. Possibly a NPIP certificate and or a VS 9-3 form. Small shows might not ask for anything, but if thats the case, I would shy away from them and not take my birds there. A couple of years ago, the Asheville NC show quarantined and eventually destroyed a bunch of birds because one person brought in sick birds that infected just about everything there. Needless to say, there where a bunch of angry bird owners that saw their show birds wiped out.

We only started showing last year but we did go out of state. The only thing we needed was an NPIP certification. We went to a show in Georgia but there were people from all over the country there. At our show in Lake City Fl there were people from Wisconsin and and all over the midwest. Get the show information it will tell you what you need. Alot of shows have special rates at hotels and such for outof towners

You can call the secretary of the club or whomever the club has listed as the contact in the show catalog. I live in WA but have shown in MT and will be showing in ID this weekend. For the Idaho show blood will be drawn from my birds upon my arrival.

Oh ok thanks!
And how do i get my flock NPIP certified, i tried emailing someone i thought was in charge of it, and they STILL havent emailed me back.
and i cant find ANY info on it on MI's Agricultural site....
