Can i feed them bread?

i have loaves of bread getting just very slightly moldy, can i feed this to the chickens? should i toast it? safe or not?

Yes, but I'd wouldn't give them all at once. Most breads don't have alot of nutrition, and the chickens would be filling up on empty calories.

why not teh monldy bread? i stil eat it sometimes, not bad for you is it, just peniciline (sp?) right?

I just pick off the moldy spots and still eat the bread.

I remove the moldy parts and give them the rest.

I feed mine moldy bread quite often with no adverse affects. It's quite funny watching them chase each other around in the version of chicken keep away.
