Can I give a goat a bath

Yes you can. I am in 4-h and I have to give mine bathes all the time at fair. you have o use a soap like dish soap...

I bring my Pygmies inside all the time in the winter so that they dont get too cold. I have a hard-surfaced floor space blocked off using a baby gate so that the goats stay in the desired area. I lay adhesive floor protectant on the ground so that they dont damage the floor with their hooves (playing, pawing, nesting, etc.). I also cover all vents and doorways so that they dont use the bathroom in the vents or under the doorways. i then lay about 2-3 flakes of straw down to cover the floor and keep them warm, put some hay, grain, and a bucket of water in their area, and let them stay inside there. My oldest Pygmy has actually been brought inside enough times to know that if she sits beside the door, we will let her outside and she will use the bathroom out there. its pretty great, because she lets us know when she has to go instead of just going in the middle of the floor. Diapers dont work very well, ive tried. theyre a waste of time and money and theyre just a pain to keep up with. Honestly, if youre going to bring the goat in, just make sure you keep up with cleaning up after them whenever they use the bathroom and youll be fine.
