  • Would it be safe to give my roos this tablet?

Yes actually my roo is 1 year 2 months old nd he has not been crowing since a month
He is not able to walk nd i found something below his foot nd i think its bumblefoot.
Nd another thing i thought was that it might be a vitamin deficiency thats why i asked..
Can u tell me why he is not walking.. is this because of bumblefoot only..
I checked his eyes nd it seemed normal by God's grace..

Nd yes he has not crowed since a month nd even his eyes looked pale so i decided to give him vitamins..
Can you suggest me something?

Yes, that is bumble foot. Here is a link with information on removing it non surgically.

It would be better, in my opinion, to give him supplements that are dosed more appropriately for a chicken. As stated before, the B's in it would not be a problem, but I also am not sure of some of the other ingredients. Here is a source that sells supplements and vitamins specifically for roosters:

Nd one last question doctor..
He is not even able to stand up is it just because of it ... i mean should i worry about marek or any other disease?

Without seeing him, I don't know. If you are able to post a video of what happens when he moves or tries to stand it might help getting suggestions. And pictures of his eyes that you say are pale. I'm not an expert on Marek's, but if it's paralysis then it's certainly possible, and there are others here who have more experience with Marek's. If you are able to do video you can post on youtube or other host and link to it here. Is he eating and drinking normally, is crop functioning normally (full after eating/empty first thing in the morning) , and what do his droppings look like? What do you feed, including treats?

Edit: if you can tell where you are located generally, it may help also.

There is always a possibility it may be Marek's as well but there is no way for us to know via a computer screen and worrying about it will not achieve anything anyway.

It is most likely that he is not walking because he has infections in both feet. Treat the bumble foot and if he is still not able to walk once they are cleared up, then start looking at other possible causes.

Hello doctor i just wanted to ask another thing too..
Should i need to worry about marek?
Or this lameness and unable to walk is due to vitamin deficiency..
He has a pale comb which has thickened..
Nd he is molting too... i mean is that weakness is due to molting..
I am just not able to understand anything

Nd i forgot to mention.. I am from India nd as he is molting... i generally give him soyabean.. and sometimes he eats indian food too like tortillas and also tomatoes etc. Nd they lives in my house where there is cemented floor only
