Can i give oregano oil to my chicken? if its not essential?

I use oregano essential oils but not every time so the birds don't build up a resistance to it. 2 drops per gallon of water.

They have several oregano supplements designed for poultry, why not just use one of those that way you can ensure the correct dosage and it is diluted properly?

the thing is it's not avaible where i live so i just have to make do with what i have.. but again thank you i will still look into it.

oohh... so can i just give the oregano water to them for 1 or 2 weeks and then return to their normal water afterwards? will it be alright?
