Can I give them steel cut oats?

Hubby bought an 80lb bag of steel cut oats. There is NO WAY that we're going to be able to eat all of that before it goes rancid (because it's not whole grain). Can I give some to the coturnix for a treat?

I gave mine some cooked steel cut oats mixed with vitamins and they loved it.

So I think dry woild be ok also.

Emily They Should Be Ok In Small Quantities... Or You Could Use Them To Make Geotta (german Breakfast Meat--- Like Scrapple Without The Yucky Scrap Meat) It's Easy To Make And You Can Freeze It So It Will Last Quite A While.
