Can I go to lock down on day 17? PLEASE ADVISE!

I should begin lock down at 6 pm on Tuesday. But I have an emergency and I am leaving tonight. can I begin lockdown before I leave without harming my Serama eggs? I'll be back Wednesday. I have someone I trust to monitor them till than. Is it better to be early than a day late.

I would lock them down early anyway given that, IME, bantams tend to hatch a bit early (around day 19 to early 20)
