I only have Bantams. I live with my Mom. Well im going to be moing in with my Dad and he wants Standard Brown Egg Layers. But I want ones that are light weight that can fly if need be. Like lets say a brown egg layer but body and lightness and quickness of the Leghorn or something like that. can any1 give me some suggestions? THanks,

Astralorps can move fastt They fly really well to avoid danger. Nice large brown eggs.

they all have 3 toes.

They are a spanish origin not APA recognized and rival WLH for l;aying and my stock lay a darker egg than any maran or the dark egg chart for that matter.
